With the current controversy over Brett Favre's return to Green Bay, it seems almost ironic that Brett Favre is on the cover of MADDEN NFL 09. It is natural poetry. To think that one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time is being rejected by the only team he has ever played for, is utterly ridiculous. Imagine this....Mike McCarthy has decided to go with Aaron Rodgers over Brett Favre. Not only is it ridiculous, but silly. It is almost as though the Packers organization blames Favre for the interception he threw last year against the Giants. So, instead of going with Favre for another year, the Packers are going to go with a guy is more then likely will not play as well and who pales to a legend. I hope Favre has a great year with the Jets and makes it to the playoffs.
